I bought Garnier Light Overnight Whitening Peeling Night Cream last year in Hong Kong – I’m a sucker for anything whitening since I have melasma. I didn’t need it, but there was a twofer special, and it came with some freebie trial sizes…how is a girl to resist?! Shopping in Hong Kong is ridiculously fun anyway so I was bound to leave with something!
This cream is pretty good! It absorbs well, is sufficiently moisturizing, and has a lovely lemony scent. The first jar did nothing for whitening/peeling, but I’m using the second jar in conjunction with mandelic acid toner so my skin is flaking a bit. I don’t see any decrease in dark spots, but I still like this product. I can’t buy it again since it’s not readily available in the US, but should I ever venture back to Asia, I might be tempted to pick it up.
Just read an article on facial bleaching in the Sept Allure. Not the effect you’re going for but interesting anyway.
Oh isn’t it always a bummer when you can’t get your favorite products right where you live!?
