Hourglass Angel to the rescue

You guys, this week I had a meeting for which I had to wear a suit. I haven’t worn a suit in ages, and I was afraid it wouldn’t fit very well because of the weight I’ve put on. My fears were realized…

These are size 6 pants, and if I’m honest, they’re probably vanity-sized. But I love these suits (they’re from Eddie Bauer), and I needed to wear it immediately.
I thought about wearing a body shaper, but it was in the 90s and I like to drink a lot of water…I couldn’t be fussed with taking the entire thing off and on everytime I went to the ladies’ room.

So I pulled out my trusty Hourglass Angel fit band.

Ahhh, so much better. (Full disclosure – I had to twist the waist cincher so that the hook-and-eye fasteners were in the back and didn’t show thru my thin cotton cami). Bonus! Cinched in like this, I sipped at my water delicately, like a lady, instead of guzzling it down as I am wont to do.

Now for the important part – measurements! My waist was 29 inches when I first got the fitband, but now it’s at 28 inches. (I have been running everyday and watching what I eat…but still. That’s significant to me). I suspect if I wore it for more than just a couple of hours a day, I’d see a bigger drop.
With the waist trainer, it shrinks down to about 26. That’s an entire pants size!

Have you tried waist training yet? I’m a fan, a big fan!

I'd love to hear from you
