1. What are you reading right now? Tell us about it.
I’m reading Dead Water 
by Ann Cleeves, the fifth book in the Shetland Island mystery series
. Yes, the mysteries are a bit formulaic, but I love the way the author describes the setting of the Shetland Islands, and the way she bounces from character to character in each chapter. I highly recommend this series if you’re a fan of murder mysteries!

2. Now that we’re coming up to the holidays, are there any books you like to return to or remind you of childhood?
I wouldn’t mind re-reading Mr. Ives’ Christmas

3. Do you have any new books on your wishlist?
I’ve got a ton of books on the library hold list, including the new Man Booker Prize winner, A Brief History of Seven Killings by Marlon James
. I know next to nothing about Jamaica or the attempted murder of Bob Marley (I don’t know much about him, either…), so I’m excited to learn something new with historical fiction.

4. Favorite book you’ve ever received as a gift?
DK Eyewitness Travel Guide to Spain
. It’s a beautiful travel guide, not really what you’d use while on the road, but perfect for reminiscing about a past trip.
5. Favorite book centered around the holidays?
