Never go it alone

Even if you don’t have immediate friends who would take an interest or the money to hire a personal trainer, you can use the internet to talk anonymously about your weight loss journey. You’ll also find plenty of inspirational stories that could give you plenty of motivation to continue, and it’s always good to have someone to turn to if you’re experiencing difficulties sticking to your regime.

Make smaller changes

Making drastic changes to your lifestyle is a quick way to give up. For instance, if you suddenly drop your calorie intake by over 500 calories a day, then you’re going to feel a lot more tired, you’ll have less energy and you may even get cravings for food. Try not to make such a drastic change if you’re in it for the long-term. The changes should be small enough to not be noticeable in your daily life, but they should be big enough to make a difference.
