Happy Monday!
Since I’m going to be in Mexico City for a few weeks, I absolutely had to bring all my some nail polish with me. It was tough to narrow down the choices (because I’ve got entirely too much nail polish even after destashing last year) but here’s what made the cut:
I limited myself to that blue bag – everything had to fit in there.
Color Club Disco Dress – Review and photo here. I brought this because it is a mini and fit easily; and also because it’s currently on my toes.
Avon Golden Wine – Review and photo here. Everyone needs a good red in her collection, right?
Avon Cosmic Radiant – Review and photo here. A new favorite.
Avon Bare Necessity – Review and photo here. This is my all-time favorite nail polish, ever. I may or may not look up an Avon lady here in Mexico City to see if it’s still available locally since it’s been discontinued in the US.
Avon Cosmic Saturn – Review and photo here. Looking at the photos of it make me wish I was wearing it now!
Also included are various accessories – Orly Bonder base coat, Orly Won’t Chip top coat, Silk Naturals All Set drying drops, and my trusty Tropical Shine buffing block.
So many Avon polishes are my favorites – and I always buy them for $2 to round up for free shipping! Seems like a good return on the money.
What’s your desert island nail polish? Could you limit yourself to just one? If you can, I salute you!

Wow I love all those colors! Can I come borrow one please?j/k How do you like the Avon nail polish, does it last long?
It doesn’t last too long, honestly, but then no nail polish lasts long on me. And I’d rather pay $2 for a bottle of polish than $8 that will chip also.
You seem to really like the Avon brand I will have to give those a try. I usually use OPI. I’m very into tangerine colors this spring.
I would LOVE to see tangerine polish. Do you have a blog post about it?
i love all these colors! i only have a few polish colors because I feel bad about always having so much leftover and never really using them again.. 🙁
Yeah, I know. I think I need to really work on rotating my colors to make sure they all get used before they dry up.

These colors are beautiful! I love Million Dollar Red or Garnet Red and these tie with a shiny Black -I find both options to be chic, sexy and neutral without being nude (Zzzzzzz) I also love all the summer neons, especially on the tosies 🙂
What brands are Million Dollar Red or Garnet Red?! I could use another red, heh heh
