Last month was my birthday! 유씨 surprised me with a road trip to Santa Barbara. It was the first visit for the both of us!
We stayed at the Four Seasons Biltmore, easily the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever seen. 
I may or may not have Pinterested the heck out of California Mission Style after staying in this gorgeous room. 
The weather was perfect. While the rest of the country was buried under snow, we Californios were experiencing this. 
I made a new friend.
The hotel brought me this surprise. It was just as delicious as it looks!
Everything about this weekend was perfect – the weather, the food, the hotel, the company…Santa Barbara is officially my favorite place in the entire world now.
What’s the most beautiful place you’ve visited?
I think I’ll be heading to Santa Barbara in July (husband is sailing there). So many beautiful places on this planet, but Hawaii is probably my all time, most beautiful place to visit.

Never been to Santa Barbara but I’m so glad you had a great birthday there. And that cake… yum!!! The most beautiful place I’ve ever been to is definitely Switzerland up in the alps because it’s just so fresh and crisp and natural.
