Sale Alert – 20% off at Lucy Minerals

lucy minerals
Hey beauties – remember this post where I listed my favorite Lucy Minerals items for my workout partner-in-crime? Well, she’s at Lucy Minerals RIGHT NOW AS I TYPE with her BFF getting makeovers, seeing how products are made, deciding what blushes to buy, and basically trying out all of Lucy’s goodies. I’m totally not seething with envy over here, I swear.

And there’s a 20% off sale on almost everything… so naturally I had to order a few things.

Here’s what I ordered (all photos from Lucy Mineral’s website):
    • Vitamin C Serum – Vitamin C serum is a crucial part of my skincare routine these days. I haven’t tried Lucy’s yet, but I’m excited for it to arrive!

    • Ambrosia for Dry Skin Beauty Oil – I haven’t tried this, but Lucy’s other beauty oils are HG products for me. No, I don’t have dry skin, but I do love me some shea butter oil… I’ve almost run out of my stash of Ambrosia Beauty Oil so my stock needs to be replenished.

December Empties

Good morning! Here are some products that I used up in December.

December empties including Lucy Minerals, Indelible Eye Pencil, L'oreal Miss Manga mascara, Avon Moroccan oil shampoo, Suave Moroccan styling oil, J&J baby bath

Lucy Minerals Sweet Dreams facial oil: I love love love this product. Never did I think I’d be someone to use oil on my oily face, but somehow it works. I’ve got back-ups of this.

Suave Moroccan Styling Oil: I think I got this in a goody bag from some event a couple of years ago. It’s lasted for-ever. I really like this product since it made my super-fine tangly hair easy to comb. I’m always hesitant to use styling product since I skip the shampoo and only use conditioner on my hair, but this stuff washes out nicely without leaving residue behind.

Indelible Eyes Waterproof Eye Pencil in Brownstone: This has replaced Avon Glimmersticks as my go-to eyeliner. It leaves a crisp and defined line, and doesn’t smudge too much on my oily lids. I wish it came in a lighter color since Brownstone is nearly black, but I bought a backup anyway.

L’oreal Miss Manga Voluminous mascara: I got this last year at a blogger event. You really can’t go wrong with L’oreal mascaras. This is a great mascara that gives length and volume. But…I wish it came in brown.

Avon Advance Techniques Moroccan Argan oil shampoo: Since I don’t use shampoo very often, this sat around in the shower for months and months. When I did use it, I didn’t have to use conditioner afterward. Imagine that! With my super-fine, tangly hair, I didn’t need conditioner. It’s a miracle. I’d repurchase but I’ve got another bottle of shampoo laying around that will take ages to finish…

Johnson&Johnson baby bedtime bath: Meh. I thought this would smell lavender-y and dreamy, but it kind smelled like Elmer’s Glue.

Sale Alert – $100 for $50 at Lucy Minerals

I hope you’re having a great weekend, and if you’re looking to shop, I’ve got great news for you! Lucy Minerals is having a sale – $100 worth of product for $50. That’s crazy!

The code for this sale is ULTIMATE50 and it’s good until midnight Sunday January 25.

Here are some things I love from Lucy Minerals:

  • Ultimate Long Handled Flat Top Buffer (reviewed here)
  • Finishing Powder (HG products; I’m probably going to hoard stock up this during this sale)
  • Ambrosia Multi-tasking Beauty Oil (part of my current skincare routine)
  • Juicy Peach blush and Sea Coral blush (reviewed here)

And if you really want to go nuts, browse the Try It Size section of the shop and sample pretty much everything! You only need a try-it size for blush, and I’m still figuring out my foundation color (Creram? Medium Golden? or a mix of the two?) so I’ll get a few of those, too.

What will you buy from Lucy Minerals during this incredible sale?
