Manicure Monday – Wet n Wild WildShine in Sparked

Hello strangers! I’m back with a Manicure Monday!
This is Wet n Wild Wild Shine nail polish in Sparked. I received it in a goody bag from that awesome Wet n Wild Max Volume Plus launch event I attended last year.

Wet n Wild Wild Shine nail color
Sparked is is a fuchsia pink polish base with chunky silver glitter. The silver flashes to make the color seem lighter at some angles.

What I really like about this glittery polish is that I don’t have to be super precise when applying it. I was in a hurry this morning, and slapped on three coats. I dare say it looks pretty good for a rush job.

I haven’t worn polish in a while and my cuticles are in rough shape…but a few coats of Wet n Wild WildShine in Sparked and I felt like a lady again. When I get tip wear, I think I’ll just dab more polish on to make the color last a few more days. Since the polish is so chunky with glitter, there’s no worry about blending anything in. Perfect for gals in a rush! I like the slimline bottle, too.

What’s on your nails today? Do you like glitter polishes?

Wet n Wild Max Volume Plus

Good morning! Last week I was invited to a party celebrating the launch of Wet n Wild’s newest mascara, Max Volume Plus.

The party was at the beautiful Sunset Marquis hotel in West Hollywood.
There was wine, there were flowers, and there were bowls on the table filled with lippies!

And that was just the outside…inside, inside was this.

I may or may not have gasped when I saw this beautiful display.

Wet n Wild is having a bit of a comeback. I remember using their products in junior high, but I can assure you that the quality is much, much better than it was all those years ago. Warpaint and Unicorns sent me the Comfort Zone palette for Christmas a couple of years ago, and it was my constant when I was working in Mexico City. The eye  shadows are highly pigmented, and they don’t crease during my working day, even with my oily lids. I’m excited to try these new items, too. The Fergie Highlighter in particular seems to be a blogger favorite. Best of all, Wet n Wild is cruelty-free.

Thank you Wet n Wild for inviting me to this incredible event, and for such amazing generosity (I went home with a LOT of beautiful goodies).

Have you tried Wet n Wild products lately?
