Thirsty Thursday – P&J Protein Shake

PB&J Protein Shake, Impact Whey Protein in Vanilla Raspberry

You may or may not know that I love peanut butter. So when MyProtein asked me to try Impact Whey Protein in the Vanilla Raspberry flavor, of course I accepted and started planning how to use it!
The Vanilla Raspberry flavor is tasty on its own and mixes really well with water. It doesn’t need any additional ingredients to make it palatable, but I haven’t done a protein shake recipe for a while so I experimented!
I added a spoonful of PB2, a couple of handfuls of spinach, and a scoop of the protein powder. SO.GOOD. It was like a sweet PB&J. I really do rely on protein shakes to satisfy my sweet tooth and this is pretty much perfect for that.

MyProtein is a pretty big brand in Europe and is now breaking into the US market. Impact Whey Protein is little bit lower in protein than other powders I use (19 grams v. 25 grams), but it’s lower calories, too (97 v. 150). If I added another half scoop, it would have much more protein than my other whey powders but for the same amount of calories. And did I mention how tasty this is? This protein powder comes in twenty flavors! Sticky Toffee Pudding sounds delicious. Thank you MyProtein for bringing this into my world!

What kind of jam do you like on your PB&J? I’ve always liked raspberry best.

  1. This sounds amazing! I would love to try- PB2 is such a winner and friends you can purchase it at Target and Walmart- it’s a game changer and I also add it to my protein shakes – I will check out My protein haven’t heard of it before. My fave jam is orange marmalade or grape for a PB & J sando but haven’t had these in years

I'd love to hear from you
