San Juan, Puerto Rico

A couple of weeks ago, 유씨 and I went to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Here are some photos from Old San Juan.

IMG_6309.JPGThis is the old fort, El Morro. It was built in the 16th century. It was really a sight to see.

IMG_6299.JPGThese flags were flying over the Castillo de San Cristobal fort, built in the 17th century. I’d like to show more photos, but they were filming a TV show there a lot of was blocked off to visitors. I’ll put up with that shizz here at home but I was annoyed that it interfered with my sightseeing!

IMG_6275.JPGWe went on a Flavors of San Juan food and walking tour (highly recommended) and we stopped at Cuatro Sombras for a fantastic cup of coffee.

IMG_6274.JPGAnother stop on the food tour – Carli’s Bistro and Piano Bar. The best mojito I’d ever had!

Our hotel was on the beach in Condado, just across the lagoon from Old San Juan.IMG_6257.JPGIMG_6248.JPG

I really enjoyed this trip and I wish I’d had a lot more time to explore more of the island, not just San Juan. I’ll be back!

Thanks for looking at my photos! What’s the last trip you took?

  1. You always take the best pictures. The last trip I took was probably to Los Angeles with my family for the weekend. I’d like to go to the Grand Canyon next. I bet it’s beautiful during the fall, and not as hot.

  2. San Juan looks really great– especially the old town. Definitely from an area of the world that I would love to see featured more on Travel Tuesday 🙂 Thanks for linking up with us!

I'd love to hear from you
