Bath & BodyWorks sale haul

I recently (and by recently I mean two months ago but I haven’t updated my blog so…recently) stopped by Bath & BodyWorks to take advantage of their semi-annual sale.

These are autumn and winter scents, but it was 75% off, and I think there’s never a wrong time for pumpkin…so I had at it.

These scents aren’t too terribly strong. They’re a light fragrance that is just pleasant enough without being overwhelming. I suppose I could have purchased the body sprays to add an extra boost of scent, but I remember how they reeked of alcohol in the 90s…perhaps the Fine Fragrance Mists have a better formulation? I’ll give them a try during the next semi-annual sale!

I was pleasantly surprised by the body wash formula. I guess I expected it to be a bit drying, but with the shea butter added, it’s smooth and creamy. The lotion absorbs nicely and does a good job of moisturizing.

The Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin formula was the first set I used; I think it was about 4-6 weeks to go through them both. That’s a pretty good bargain!

These were quite the indulgence for me – I usually wash with a bar of Dove and use a regular body lotion after the shower, but the sale prices make this a nice and affordable treat. I’ll be splurging during the next sale, too!
