The folks at BetterSkinToday.com recently contacted me to ask my opinion of the “11 Things you can do RIGHT NOW to prevent wrinkles” infographic.
I’m not going to lie, I pretty much love it. Scroll down after reading the infographic to see which of these tips I follow.
1. Avoid the sun check
2. Wear sunscreen check
3. Don’t smoke check
4. Get good sleep check
5. Eat more fish and soy check; no meat for me, so I eat fish and soy by default
6. Use moisturizer check
7. Don’t over-wash your face I have been guilty of this; I had cystic acne for many years and tried to wash it away. WRONG.
8. Eat more fruits and vegetables check
9. Apply alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) check; easy to combine this step with #6.
10. Use retinoids, including Retin-A not for me. My face tends toward redness and retinoids just exacerbate that.
11. Topical Vitamin C good reminder; I used to love a vitamin C serum from Silk Naturals and I should put it back in my routine.
Not on the list – drink a lot of water!

I can’t do retinoids either, but I am doing pretty well with the rest. Thanks for the reminders.
I’ve used Retin A for awhile. It can have some scary side effects but it works for me. I pretty much agree with everything else too, especially sunscreen!
