Facial Friday – Skincare Empties

It’s the weekend!
The second #2014BloggerChallenge writing prompt is Skincare, so I thought I’d combine that with the empties post I was planning to write.

Here are a few products I’ve used up recently:

Avon Anew Reversalist Day with SPF 25 – I’ve been using Anew for years, but I think this is my last jar. Since I’ve been using mandelic acid toner, I don’t want too many actives on my face since I’m afraid it exacerbates redness and that’s the last thing I need. So, I bought a regular SPF moisturizer from Avon to replace this.

Avon Anew Rejuvenate 24-Hour Eye Moisturizer – I liked that this jar had two wells – one side was for night with a think, balm-like texture; and the other side was for day with SPF and a thinner lotion. I have another jar of it under the sink (I can never resist Avon’s Buy-2 sales) but I’ve been using an eyecream from Makeup Artist’s Choice lately instead.

Also, I can’t stand that silver paint on the rim of these jars. It gets all over the place, including my fingers and it somehow it ends up on my face.

GarnierLight – I previously reviewed it here. I couldn’t repurchase this even if I wanted since it’s not available in the US.

Peter Thomas Roth – I snagged these from a hotel where we stayed in Cabo last year – naughty naughty. This lotion had a wonderful tea scent, but other than that, it wasn’t anything really special. It was handy to carry around in my bag, though.

Dial NutriSkin Replenishing lotion – yeah, I ripped into this. I used it for another 3 weeks after slicing it open; that’s a LOT of product.
