Hair Conditioner Empties

Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle, L'oreal Advanced Restoring Conditioner

As I’ve posted on the blog before, I don’t use shampoo to wash my hair; instead I just use hair conditioner. As long as it’s ‘cone-free, it seems to rinse out nicely.

Here are some recent empties:

Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle, L'oreal Advanced Restoring Conditioner, co-washing

Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner – Good stuff. It really does tingle! This conditioner has a thin consistency, so it’s really easy to use as a wash.
L’oreal Advanced Total Repair Restoring Conditioner – This was part of a major coupon haul. I liked it more than I thought I would – it smelled lovely and rinsed clean. It was a bit thick, though, so I had to water it down. That just made it last longer – double score!

Herbal Essences Touchably Smooth, Suave Rosemary Mint conditioner, co-washing

Herbal Essences Touchably Smooth – This smelled divine, but didn’t rinse out well and after a while I had major buildup that required shampoo to removed. That will teach me to use hair conditioner with dimethicone.
Suave Rosemary Mint conditioner – HG hair conditioner. I do like to switch it up and use new conditioner from time to time, but I always go back to this one.

What do you use to wash your hair?

    1. What was wrong with your hair? I’m starting to hate mine, but it’s probably because I haven’t had a cut in probably 6 months.

  1. I’ve been using the Hask products I got for review and truly love them. There are no chemicals or anything in them so I think you’d like them. You can get them at Walmart or Walgreens as well as other mass retailers. I don’t wash my hair every day though. I try to give my hair a break.

  2. Getting rid of shampoo (and sometimes conditioner) as well seems to be increasingly popular. I have been able go about 5 days without washing my hair but generally wash it once or twice a week. But I would love to try to give it up more, especially as frequent travelers. Thanks for your thoughts about each of these conditioners!

    1. Good point, hauling around bottles of shampoo and conditioner is not fun while travelling, especially if you’re trying to travel light!

I'd love to hear from you
