Happy Monday everyone! I hope it was relaxing and you’re ready to take on a new week.
If you’re been reading my blog for a while, you already know that I wash my hair everyday with conditioner and use shampoo but rarely. Since I have no other ideas for a blog post today, here is a review of a couple of products I’ve finished. These were part of a big coupon haul I had a couple of months ago.
Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Fortifying Conditioner – Pure Residue, more like. Despite the name, this stuff would.not.rinse.out. I tried using less and I tried watering it down, but after 5 or 6 tries, I gave up. It left me feeling like I didn’t wash my hair at all, and I hate that dirty scalp feeling (which is why I wash my hair every day). I’m using it as shaving cream now.
L’oreal Advanced Haircare Power Moisture Hydrating Conditioner – I really liked this. It rinsed out nicely even though it was pretty thick. It left my hair soft, smooth, and easy to comb (another reason why I wash with conditioner). The scent was lovely. As I used this up, I put water in the bottle to get the conditioner on the sides (I’m cheap like that) and it still worked nicely watered down.
How was your weekend? Are you using any hair care products that I should know about?
Just a few days left for April Challenge Pack sales – don’t let summer sneak up on you without being ready for shorts!
This post contains my Beachbody affiliate link. Thank you for supporting Blush and Barbells and good luck on your fitness journey.
I wash my hair every other day (except on the weekends) .. so I only have to suffer through dirty hair on Tue & Thur .. lol. Ah, well .. if I want some length, I must wash less. I do use Wen .. which is probably the same as washing my hair with just conditioner .. I just like the way the sweet almond mint smells.
Monica.
The Wen infomercials are what made me think I could just use conditioner! Sweet Almond Mint sounds gorgeous.
I’m very fond of L’Oreal haircare products. I’ve used up a poo/con set with the purple one (keratin, I think?). Lately I’m loving OGX products. A little pricey for drugstore lines but they work nicely for me. 🙂
L’oreal does do nice haircare.
I’ll check out the OGX line – thanks for the recommendation!
I wash my hair everyday as well and conditioning is a must. Have you used any of the Pantene products? Their professional line is pretty good and not too expensive.
I haven’t tried Pantene in years – it was awful with the build-up for me. I wonder if it’s different now. I should try it again; thanks for the suggestion!
