You already now how I feel about this link-up, so let’s get started!
1. What are you reading? Tell us about it!
It’s a collection of 4 novellas from Daphne du Maurier. Each story has its own unique twist – I just love the suspense.
2. Do you find yourself reading more of a particular genre during the heat of summer?
Not really! I just read whatever looks interesting or is recommended by other book lovers!
3. Who are your favorite book villains (either to love or to hate?)
The most notorious book villain of this century has to be Snape, but I wasn’t too keen on him. He was a bully that picked on children. Yes, he redeemed himself by the end of the series, but I still couldn’t erase the memory of him mocking Hermoine’s teeth or being so hateful to Harry.
4. If you could choose one author’s writing powers to harness, who would you choose and why?
I wish all my favorite authors churned out endless novels! I tend to binge-read once I find an author I like and then I’m bummed out when I’ve read everything s/he has written.
5. Do you read one book at a time, or read multiple books at once?
I typically read one book at a time.
6. What are some of your favorite non-fiction books?
Probably anything by Suze Orman – she really does change the way I think and feel about money.
What are you reading?
Great answers!
Thank you my friend. What are you reading now?
I chose Snape as one of my villains. He caused a tornado of emotions. Like you said…I hated him throughout the books and then you read the end and you’re like YOU WERE GOOD THE WHOLE TIME! (still mean, but good) 🙂
Can you believe I’ve never read Harry Potter? I know, it’s unAmerican. One of these days…
I wish I hadn’t yet read Harry Potter, then I could read them for the first time.
Snape really is the best villain!
He sure had us fooled for most of the series!
Currently reading Red Rising , by Pierce Brown and it’s meh. I’m thinking of shelving this book as I just picked up The Giver by Lois Lowry that I really want to read.

Life is too short to waste on meh books!
I binge read authors too. I never want to run out of their books or a series! When HP was over, I felt like my life was over, haha.
Right?! We had the movies to look forward to for a while, but once those ended…
Snape is so complicated. I still always felt a little sorry for him though. He has an empty life, for the most part. Not an excuse to make fun of kids, but at least he had a background and wasn’t just a 2D mean teacher. 🙂
That’s something I really liked about HP – even the villainous personalities had some character development.
