It’s been a while since I was immersed in a book, but since I’m currently funemployed, I’m ready to get reading again!
Here are this month’s questions:
1. What are you reading right now? Tell us about it.
I’m reading Throwaway by Heather Huffman

I don’t yet know how I feel about this book. It’s about a prostitute that falls in love (at first sight!) with the undercover cop that was assigned to follow her pimp. I guess once I get over that, I can enjoy the story, because it does seem to be well-written.
2. What was your favorite book you had to read in school and which was your least favorite?
Favorite – Charlotte’s Web in the 2nd grade
Least Favorite – When I was in college, I was assigned The American by Henry JamesZZzzzzz

3. What is your favorite book that was turned into a movie? Were you happy with the movie?
As a small child, I was very confused by A Little Princess movie with Shirley Temple. It was so different from the book that it was years before I realized it was really the same story!

4. Which book do you wish would be turned into a movie?
I’d love to see the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith/JKR turned into movies or a mini-series. You just cannot beat British murder mysteries.
Also- Noah by Elizabeth Reyes. I’m here for Taylor Lautner in the title role.

5. Did you set any reading goals for 2015? How are you doing with them?
FAIL. I set a goal for 50 books, but I’ve only read 9. Only read 9! I don’t think I’ve read that few books since I was in law school and the mere thought of books filled me with dread. But I’ve reactivated my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I’m ready to go!

What are you reading? Did you join the link-up?
Girl, I remember in college I read zero books. And I’m a huge bookish nerd, but I just couldn’t. College beat me up with school books. Made me not want to read at all. Totally get it! Thanks for linking up and hope to see you back tomorrow!
Oh I read a ton in college…just not my text books…
