It’s time for my favorite link-up! Every month my to-read list grows and grows thanks to Literary Junkies. If you like to read, you must join us!
Here are this month’s questions:
1. What are you reading right now? Tell us about it!
I can’t tell you about it – that might spoil it! There are many unexpected twists to this story. I fell asleep reading this because I didn’t want to put it down.
2. What was your favorite series to read when you were a kid?
I love serial novels! I don’t remember reading series when I was a kid. I feel like that’s a new trend in popular fiction.
3. The world is ending: What 3 books do you save from your collection in hopes to contribute to whatever new society forms?
I would grab my tablet – all my books are on there!
4. What is your favorite genre to read? Why?
I guess chick lit? I’ve flirted with Scandinavian crime novels and cozy mysteries too. I’ve also read a bit of supernatural teen lit.
I think my life would be a serial!6. What is next on your “to-read” list? Tell us about it!
I’m not looking forward to this, but I want to finish out the series. I didn’t enjoy the first book at all – the boyfriend seemed abusive and the heroine confirmed her co-dependency in the second book. I’ll read this and b!tch about it later.

This is my Beachbody affiliate link. Thanks for supporting Blush and Barbells, and good luck on your fitness journey!
Currently reading Three , by Kristen Simmons. I’ve turned into a dystopian book junkie.
Allegiant .. Oh, Allegiant .. well, I’ll let you read it first.
On a side note, do you have P90X3? If yes, do you like it?
Monica.
I have heard many negative reviews of Allegiant :-/
No negative reviews of P90X3 though! I don’t have it but since I’m a Beachbody coach I did a preview workout last year. It’s a great program, but I love Tony Horton anyway. I’m going to buy it when I finish T25. Which I’ll do when I finish Body Beast. So many workout programs, so little time.
The Husband’s Secret is on my “to read” list. I am hoping to get to that this summer. Thanks for linking up with us over at Literary Junkies!
Sara
I am really liking all of Liane Moriarty’s books!
I absolutely love a book that you fall asleep with because you can’t put it down!
I haven’t read a book like that in a long time! Although when I woke up I did have to re-read the last chapter haha.
I’m with Brooke-that must be one good book! Speaking of series, did anyone else read Sweet Valley Twins/High? LOL For some reason I just remembered those! Serial 6, eh? I wonder WHY!!?
I did not read Sweet Valley High. But a friend of mine was OUTRAGED by the last book that came out!
I need to read The Husband’s Secret – I heard it was really good!
SO GOOD. I think it’s the pick for next month’s Twitter chat.
You’re the first I’ve heard a bad review of divergent from! I’ve wanted to read it for a really long time. Long before a movie was in the picture but now I feel it’s this huge cult phenomenon
It’s really terrible. I suspect the movies will be better than the books.
I was thinking I wanted to start the Divergent series, but now I think I’ll wait and see. No rush by what you are saying.
I only read it because everyone else is :/
I wanted to start the Divergent series/watch the movies, but after hearing about the boyfriend/girlfriend situation I don’t know if I would enjoy it that much. Is not super Twilight-y is it?
It is rather Twilight-y, but without Taylor Lautner.
