Happy Monday! Today I’m reviewing MesmerEyes by Napoleon Perdis. This was a gift from Meg’s Makeup! (affiliate link) Meg sure is keeping me well-supplied.
Napoleon Perdis advertises this mascara as a miracle bra for your lashes!
This mascara has a very unique brush – longer bristles on one side and short, wider-spaced bristles on the other. I used the longer side on my top lashes and shorter side on my lower lashes. I suppose I could try using both sides on my upper lashes for more definition, but the one side gives me plenty of volume and length with just two coats.
It took a couple of attempts to get the application right, but it was well worth the effort! My lashes looked thicker and well-defined without being clumpy. I really liked combing this through my upper lashes and seeing them get coated – it was so precise, much different than with a traditional mascara brush.
I will definitely purchase this for myself, but I wish it came in brown too. Napoleon Perdis is cruelty-free and available online or at Ulta
What’s the most unusual mascara wand you’ve seen?
:0 I have yet to come acrossan unusual mascara.
But I did buy one by Bourjous(sp?)
that had a ‘liner’ effect. The masacara throws some sort of reflection on the eye lids.
Basically, it is for dummies like me who cannot apply eye-liners.

I am so tired of my current ‘clumpy’ mascara…can’t wait to try this miracle brush!
You could get some spoolies in the meantime to comb out and unclump!
I think the weirdest brush I’ve seen is the Maybelline “Lots of Lashes” version of their Great Lash mascara. I could NEVER get all my lashes to look the same!!!
Have you seen the new Avon one? That looks pretty weird to me – I’m tempted to try it just because I have no idea how the heck it would work!! Lol.
I’ve tried something like this before when it comes to a brush and have to agree it took some time to get used to but it really did seem to work well once I was used to it.
Thank you for linking up to the I Love My Post Blog Hop.

I’m tempted to try it too! And I like Avon anyway so it will probably be in my next order.
