I popped into Sally’s last week and picked up a few things.
The 4-in-1 Tropical Shine buffer block is an HG product for me. My nails tend to split, so using this makes my nails smooth and less likely to break. I also feel okay foregoing nail polish after I’ve buffed them to a high shine.
While I was in Sally’s, I cruised the hair care aisle to see what was on sale. I like to try out new conditioners, so I picked out whatever sachets were on sale for 99ยข. Since I wash my hair with conditioner, I tend to forget that I need deep conditioning too.
And I need deep conditioning because I color my hair every month or so. My hair grows pretty fast and I like to keep the gray at bay!
I really like John Frieda Precision Foam Color. It’s easy to apply, always consistent, and cruelty-free. I like to alternate between light, medium, and dark blonde to match the season, plus it gives my hair some nice high- and low-lights. I prefer to use Ash shades (no brassiness from those), but I had a Buy One Get One Free coupon from Target, and this was all that was on the shelf and rootage was unacceptable! I’ll have to order the Ash shades online since I can’t seem to find them in any stores.
This was included in one of the hair color boxes as a freebie. Kind of weird to have shampoo for dark blondes along with light blonde hair color dye, no? I don’t use shampoo all that often but I’ll keep it around.
