Still raving about Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat

Last week I blogged about Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat and how I was chip-free for an entire week.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat, Zoya Fawne

I feel like quite the lady these days, with nicely-painted nails and a fresh-looking manicure.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat, Zoya Fawne

Here are some things I’ve learned since using this product:

  • The top coat dries very quickly, but the layers underneath don’t, so I still have to be careful lest I dent the polish.
  • I’m still using Orly Bonder as a base coat.
  • This top coat makes my nails thick. They almost look like acrylics when I look down on the tips. My nails seem…sturdy.
  • The top coat is also very shiny. It doesn’t dull after a few days.
  • Some brands of polish and top coat don’t work very well together, but I’ve used this with Avon and Zoya and so far so good.
  • I use regular acetone nail polish remover to take this off, but it does take some elbow grease.

Okay, enough raving about this top coat, but I’m so so happy with it, I just had to blog about it.

Any products you’re loving right now?

  1. I want to use some! I’m giving my nails a break from solar nails but I still want them to be pretty. It seems like after I paint them they chip directly after my shower, bummer! Thanks for the recommendation.

    1. YES! My nails chipped right out of the shower, too. This is the third week I’m using this top coat, and the worst that’s happened is tip wear. You should really try it – I could not be more happy with it!

I'd love to hear from you
