I hope you all had a great weekend! Today’s Sunday Social is a topic after my own heart.
1. How old were you when you started wearing makeup?
12 or 13 – I had cystic acne and piled on all kind of nasty foundation in a vain attempt to cover it. I used my mother’s CoverGirl Clean. I love the smell of CoverGirl, but it was the wrong color, I didn’t know how to apply it, and it looked a mess, probably worse than just the acne alone.
2. What are your top 3 favorite beauty products?
Foundation (Lumiere Minerals Cashmere, but the company has disappeared!)
Mascara (not too picky)
Lip Gloss (Avon Glazewear usually)
3. What is one makeup product you don’t leave home without?
Lucy Minerals Finishing Powder. It’s an HG product for sure.
4. What is your daily beauty routine?
Wake up, work out, shower, comb my hair, put on foundation, blush, eyeliner, mascara, finishing powder, and run for the bus.
5. What is your favorite hair/makeup product you’ve discovered in the last year?
I really like Aussie Aussomely Clean Conditioner to wash my hair.
Have a great week!
Stopping by from the link party… I am going to have to look for that finishing powder. Thanks for the recommendations!
Thanks for stopping by! You’ll love Lucy Minerals!
I probably started wearing makeup at around the same age. My favorite beauty discovery in the last year is that you can use coconut oil both for cooking and as a moisturizer!
I need to get behind coconut oil. I hear it makes a great hair mask.
I forgot about that foundation but you sound very similar to me when I was younger! Rimmel Lash Extender Mascara is my fave! I have been wanting to try Urban Decay finishing spray, it’s kind of pricey though.
I think CoverGirl clean has a sleek new bottle. I had to really search to find a photo of the old one.
I recently discovered Chi silk infusion works like charm after bath, and really helps to keep my hair straight.
I have heard great stuff about Aussie too.
Sweet! Do you live in a humid climate?
Drop by me blog, you have been nominated for two awards. xo
