I tried AQUAHydrate, electrolyte-enhanced water

Yes, yet another alliterative theme. It helps me stay consistent with my blog posts!

Recently AQUAhydrate contacted me and asked if I wanted to try their performance water, which is electrolyte-enhanced. I drink plenty of water, but sometimes I need something a little bit more, so I’ll have a sports drink. The sports drinks definitely do the job, but they’ve either got sugar or artificial sweeteners and those are no bueno. So I happily accepted a few bottles of AQUAhydrate.

And boy did I need AQUAhydrate this weekend. Saturday I had the Flywheel class, and later that evening I went to a 70s-themed party where I danced and danced and danced. If you’re been reading this blog for a while, you know that I am one sweaty betty.
Of course during both events I drank plenty of water, but really, sometimes it’s just not enough. I’m glad that I got to try AQUAhydrate because now I know there’s an alternative to sports drinks.
I liked the taste of this water, too. It was clean and crisp and it even tasted good when it wasn’t cold – yesterday was 95 degrees and I had a bottle of this in my bag so it was pretty warm when I drank it. I still guzzled that bad boy though.

  1. On the weekend, I did a little detox diet where my goal was to get off sugar, gluten, and drink 8 glasses of water. And it was a good lesson as I found out that I don’t really drink enough water. By noon, I had only had two glasses. Anyway, this water looks interesting. I’m not into sports drinks .. not fond of the taste.

    1. Yes, I think I’ll pick up some Aquahydrate next time I go hiking because regular water just isn’t enough for that.

    1. You know, I think having a bottle handy really does get you to drink more. Especially if you have a dispenser at your workplace – so easy just to saunter over and fill it up.

      1. I try and drink 100 oz or more a day- but sometimes it’s difficult to get it in! I try adding lemons or strawberries to mix it up & that helps. I have tried Aquahydrate before and I really like it! Very refreshing – mmmmmm water
