Today we attempted a hike in the Verdugos, but didn’t even reach the top. Why not? Well, because there was A MOUNTAIN LION on the trail. So we turned around and high-tailed it back down, managing only 6 miles today. Along the way down we were assaulted by strong winds and icy rain. Not fun. It’s supposed to warm up this week so I’m looking forward to a sunny hike next weekend.
