Manicure Monday – Zoya Mimi

Happy Monday! I’m back with one of my most favorite nail polishes in the history of nail polish…Zoya Mimi.

If there is a more pretty-pretty princess shade than this, I have yet to find it. If you know of one, please tell me! Zoya Mimi is a deep, sparkingly, royal purple with flashes of hot pink glitter. It’s just fabulous.

I use three coats over Orly Bonder base coat. I probably could have just used two coats, but I wanted to make sure the color was fully saturated. Now, this polish has a bit of a rough texture because of the glitter, but with Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat, it was very smooth.

I have quite a few Zoya polishes thanks to those Earth Day promos they used to run (maybe they still do? I don’t know ). The colors are always unique and varied, but more than any other brand I’ve used, a base coat and top coat with Zoya are essential.
