I Just Had To Share These Beauty Hacks With You

As you probably already know, if you read my blog on a regular basis, I am a total beauty junkie. I love everything to do with beauty – hair products, nail products, anything beauty-related.

As well as being a beauty product addict, I also love finding new beauty tips and ideas. Over the years I have come across many amazing beauty hacks, from makeup tips to hair styling tips, I have learned a lot.

So I thought that I would create a post about all of my favorite beauty tips and ideas so that you can benefit from them, too. Without further ado, here is my guide to all my favorite beauty ideas.

Keep a plastic spoon in your makeup bag

One of my pet hates is spending ages doing my makeup, only to get mascara under my eye at the last minute. When you’ve spent ages perfecting your makeup, having to redo parts of it because of mascara marks is just so frustrating.

However, if you keep a plastic spoon in your makeup bag, you can prevent this from happening. Pop the plastic spoon upside down under your eyelashes – smooth side up, and apply your mascara. This will prevent you from getting any mascara from your bottom lashes onto the skin under your eye. How amazing is that – no more mascara marks?

Detangling products are your best friends

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that all conditioners work the same. This isn’t true, which is why if you have hair that tangles easily, you need to use a detangling conditioner, as well as a spray.

I also find that the key to keeping my hair tangle-free throughout the day is regularly brushing it. I also like to apply more detangling spray throughout the day.

Don’t waste time filling your eyebrows

I have always found filling my eyebrows to be a major waste of my time. Yes, they might look good, but it just takes so long to achieve the perfect look. Instead of spending what seems like hours filling my eyebrows each day, I think that brow embroidery is a much better option.

Yes, it can be a little costly, but it will last you for months. Best of all, the treatment is quick, painless and results in natural-looking eyebrows, so is ideal for me.

Exfoliate your lips

We exfoliate every other area of our bodies, so why not exfoliate our lips? If, like me, you are a lipstick lover – the brighter and bolder the better, having dry lips is a nightmare. Dry lips make applying lipstick impossible, as it looks rough and grainy, which isn’t the desired effect.

To prevent my lips from getting dry and chapped, I regularly use lip balm and exfoliate my lips at least twice a week. Sometimes I use a soft toothbrush to do this – a spare one, not my one, but mostly I like to make my own sugar scrub.

These are just a few of my favorite beauty hacks – I have hundreds of things I could share. However, I chose to share these hacks as I find them to be the most useful.

I'd love to hear from you
