Literary Junkies Linkup for December

The Book Thief

Good morning! Today I’m linking up with Taylor & Christine for this months Literary Junkies linkup.

Pink Heels Pink Truck

Here are this month’s questions:

1. If you could write a book, what would it be about?
It would probably be a guide for solo women travellers. So many women pass up on their travel dreams because they don’t have a travel companion when they can really do it on their own!

2. If you had to read one book or trilogy for the rest of your life, what would it be?
JUST ONE DO YOU HATE ME

3. Who is your current favorite book character and why?
Probably Mma Precious Ramotswe from The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency – she’s kind, quirky, and unapologetic about being traditionally built.

4. Is there a book your read every year during the holiday season? If so, what is it and why?
No, but that sounds like a nice tradition.

5. Do you have any books on your Christmas list? Name a few.
No books on my Christmas list, but I’ve got holds at the library for a few books by Jojo Moyes.

6. What is a book you read and loved that you didn’t expect to?
I just finished The Book Thief and the first chapter made me think it was going to be just awful, but I really liked it.

  1. The first JoJo Moyes book I read was Me Before You, and I loved it. The Girl You Left Behind wasn’t quite as good, but still a great read. I’ll have to check out her other ones, too.

    1. AS long as you start off somewhere that is touristy, you can totally do it. Then you’ll have confidence to try more places.

I'd love to hear from you
