Annie Chun’s Roasted Seaweed Snacks Review and Giveaway! CLOSED

Review and Giveaway of Annie Chun's Roasted Seaweed Snacks, soba, wasabi

And we have a winner! Thanks everyone for participating.

Happy Monday! I’m trying to get back into a normal routine after a couple of cray-cray weeks. But first – time for a snack!
I was recently sent this sampler package of Annie Chun’s Roasted Seaweed Snacks to evaluate.
Now, you might think that eating seaweed (or nori) might be a bit strange, but if you like salty snacks, this is the way to go. I have snacked on nori from time to time, but Annie Chun’s Seaweed Snacks are flavored! Genius idea. Nori is chock full of vitamins and minerals, and because it’s roasted, you’ve got a satisfying crispiness. There is surprisingly low amount of sodium in these snacks, so they’re great if you’re watching your sodium intake but still want something savory.

Here are the flavors I tried:
Cracked Black Pepper & Herbs: I love love love black pepper, so I thought these were really tasty.
Brown Sugar and Sea Salt: If you like sweet and salty together, these are for you. Or maybe they’re for me, haha.
Wasabi: WOW! The wasabi-flavored snacks packed a punch! I’m not a fan of hot or overly spicy, but the wasabi wasn’t overwhelming; it just left enough heat to let you know that you’re eating something GOOD. I cut these up in soba and it was the most delicious soba I have ever eaten in my entire life. I may or may not have had the Wasabi snacks and soba for dinner every day for a week. I’m not exaggerating the deliciousness – I’ve already bought myself some more from Whole Foods.

  1. I like seaweed. I buy a Japanese salad made with kelp. I have dulse for snacking and flakes for seasoning. I have nori for maki sushi. I also have packets of roasted seaweed; it does not say what vegetasble is used.

  2. I eat these alot and I have 3 packs in my pantry right now. The wasabi is my favorite!. I love to scoop chiken salad in the wrappers and eat it that way.

  3. I’ve tried a bunch of seaweed snacks but i havent really tried a flavored one and im really curious how it would taste like.

  4. I buy Trader Joes seaweed all the time for my family – my husband and kids love it but I don’t really eat it. My family would love to try the flavored ones like these. Thanks for the giveaway!

I'd love to hear from you
