It’s on SATURDAY
Today I started over with the 5K to 10K program I’d been using – I only ran once last week, and sat at home sniffling and sneezing the other days. Oh spring! How lovely and fragrant you are, yet how you wreak havoc with my respiratory system. Today I kept the running portions at a steady 5.2 pace.
My goal for this 10K is not to finish last. When I expressed this thought to my sister, she said, who cares if you do? At least you’re trying.
Okay. At least I’m trying.
Especial thanks to KTJ Weighing In and Latte and a Prayer for starting the Spring Training 5K Challenge. It’s just the encouragement I needed; I suspect I would have blown off this race entirely were it not for this Link-Up.
Good luck this weekend! It is so awesome you are doing a 5k!!! I can’t wait to read about how you did!
Thank you!
Good luck!! I’m pretty sure that you won’t finish last but even if you do you are still doing it and you win over everyone who is instead sitting at home watching television!! 🙂 You should be really proud of yourself!
Thanks a lot!
Finishing last is still better than never starting. I was at a race on Saturday with my daughters and the husband and wife who came in last were so excited to finish. She said, “I was last! And I don’t care!” Good luck!
thank you! That is quite encouraging!
