Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent Spray

Happy Friday!
I’m trying to get back into a blogging routine, so today I’m resurrecting Fragrance Fridays.

This week I’ve been wearing Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent Spray.

As you can see from the bottle, I’ve worn it quite a lot since I purchased it a few months ago!
I got this at Marshalls for $12.99. I love the scent of green tea (well, any tea actually), so even though there weren’t testers out, I made a bold decision on an anosmiac purchase.

From the Elizabeth Arden website:

Top Notes: Caraway, Fruity Rhubarb, Lemon, Orange Zest and Bergamot

Middle Notes: Cool Minty Peppermint, Green Tea, Sweet Jasmine, Spicy Carnation, Fresh Fennel and Crisp Celery Spice

Base Notes: Oakmoss, Musk and Amber

Well, this doesn’t smell like tea at.all. To me, it smells distinctly of grapefruit (which isn’t even on the list) It’s a nice fragrance, but not tea-like. Still, the tangy citrus scent is a great pick-me-up in the afternoon. There’s not a lot of sillage in this perfume either, so I feel comfortable wearing it at work. It’s very light and fresh and cheerful.
There are a few other varieties of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Scent Spray – Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Lavender, Cherry Blossom are just a few others that I’ve seen at Marshall’s. I think for $13, they’re definitely worth buying and tossing in my purse for a quick mood boost. I think a light fragrance like this is perfect for warm weather.

What’s up for the weekend? Do you have a favorite summer scent?

  1. Hmm, I bet I’ like that one. My go-to scent for body lotion is Bath and Body Works’ ginger and white tea (I have to buy it in bulk since it is discontinued!). I never would have thought of a tea based fragrance, but I like how it pairs nicely with pretty much any other scent. I

  2. AH, I have totally gone through a bottle of this!!! Now I wear Chloe exclusively. Other past faves were Issay Miyake and Chanel Chance. Chloe is so much a part of me, I really can’t tell I’m wearing it! Have a great weekend, Wendy!!

I'd love to hear from you
