Half Marathon Training update

Hollywood Half Marathon

I am totally behind on my soaps because I haven’t had a run in weeks! So today I went to my happy place with my soaps loaded on my tablet and popped on the treadmill.

daily mile, half marathon training, treadmill runningIt took me nearly half an hour to walk 1.5 miles home, though. Climbing the 4 flights of stairs to my apartment was pretty tough, too. I love that sore feeling.
I should probably do one long run this weekend – maybe 9ish miles – since the half is next weekend. Yikes! That date came up quick.

  1. GREAT run! That’s cool that you watch soaps on the treadmill. I love efficiency! So I don’t watch soaps but my mom AND dad AND American grandparents all watch Korean dramas! AH! Hilarious. Have a great weekend, Wendy! I totally love being sore when I walk. It makes me feel so accomplished!

    1. K-dramas are good stuff – they remind me of South American novelas I watched years ago with my grandmother. Today’s novelas are way too smarmy!

    1. Thank you! I don’t know that I would train too much if I didn’t have the soaps to preoccupy me.
