Humpday Confessions!

Linking up with Kathy from Vodka and Soda again for Humpday Confessions!
Humpday Confessions

  • I wasted the entire day waiting to be called into work (I wasn’t).
  • I’m entirely too interested in the Oscar Pistorius trial. It reminds a lot of another superstar sports hero murder trial that happened 20 years ago…

this actually happened at a game we attended a couple of years ago
  • I resisted cable TV for years, but 유씨 insisted on it when we moved. Now I watch HGTV allllll the time.

  • The HGTV shows from Canada are my favorites, probably because people say “house” and “out” in their adorable Canadian accents.

  • I eat the same thing every day because it’s easier to track my calories that way. I am a very lazy dieter.

Unburden yourself! What do you want to confess?

  1. ok, i’m canadian and im interested in knowing what a canadian accent is. i’ve discussed this with other canadian peeps and we assume americans think it’s the accent the folks out east have…sort of has an irish twinge to it. peeps from toronto dont have that; same with vancouver.

    1. It’s the way the people on the show say house/about/out. The TV shows are filmed in Vancouver and Toronto and the pronunciation is pretty consistent. Remember the newscaster Peter Jennings? I had no idea he was Canadian until 9/11 – I think he got emotional during the broadcast and he let that ou- sound slip in.

  2. I have a South African friend so I’ve been following that case since the beginning…its just so bizarre! I also eat the same thing almost every day because its way easier that way. I’ll make something on Sunday and eat it M-F that way I know exactly what it was and my macros for the day.

    1. I haven’t reached the burn-out phase yet…I guess I’m pretty nosy and like seeing into other people’s houses!

I'd love to hear from you
