Skyline Beauty is a nail supply shop in Chinatown, legendary for its stock and prices. When I saw Skyline Beauty on Groupon – $11 for $22 worth of product, I had to get it! I thought it would be a good way to fill a couple of gaps in my stash. The shop also has great specials – Buy 3 China Glaze, Get 1 Free, so it was an even more impressive deal.
Here are the goods:
- CND Stickey
– This is a base coat. Orly Bonder
works for me sometimes, so I’m hoping for more consistent results with Stickey.
- China Glaze Cleopatra
– There have been a couple of times when I’d wished for a gold polish, and now I have it!
- China Glaze Street Chic
– This nude-y brown reminds me of my beloved Avon Bare Necessity which was discontinued, but in a bit of a darker, brown-er tone.
- China Glaze Recycle
– There was a big grey void in my stash that has now been filled.
- China Glaze Snow
– I have no idea what I’m going to do with this, but I did have a white polish on my list.
- Orly Shine on Crazy Diamond
mini – I think this would be a pretty top coat on a creme polish.
- Color Club Where’s the Soiree
mini – Is this black? I thought it was in the store, but in the sunshine it looks more like a blackened red. Oops.
- Color Club Disco Dress
mini – Okay so I don’t need any more purple polish, but this is such a loud color that I had to get it.
My total was $22.64, so I had to pony up some change and I walked out with these beauties. A side note here – I wish all nail polish came in mini bottles like the three that I bought.
Have you ever used up an entire bottle of nail polish, or have you had to toss them when they start to dry out?

I am loving all of those shades! I always forget about China Glaze because the only place I ever see it around here is Sally’s and I never go in there! I need to get on that!

What a STEAL! This place sounds awesome! I have to venture down. Excellent color choices and I totally have white nails right now! That base coat-let me know how it goes! I need a good one!

ooooh pretty colors! yeah, i wish the nailpolish were in smaller bottles because i have NEVER finished a regular bottle before!
Mini bottles would help justify a bigger stash, too 😉
Nice deal! And I’m definitely with you on the mini bottles – I think I’ve used up maybe two full nail polish bottles EVER in my life. Some old dried out nail polishes can be made usable again with nail polish thinner, so it’s really hard to get rid of the stuff, haha!
Using up two full bottles is impressive! I’ve only ever done that with base or top coat!
I’m loving gold sparkle right now, so that one in the top right is calling out to me. I don’t think I’ve ever used up a bottle of polish before it started to dry out, which is a bummer, but maybe mini polishes are the way to go!
