My Top Tips for Looking the Best You Can

If you want to be the best version of yourself, the ultimate you; you need to put in a little work. Some people do wake up in the morning looking flawless, but this isn’t the case for many of us. Most of us have to work hard to look good. Looking good isn’t the be all and end all, but it can help with so many things. It’ll improve confidence, self esteem, your attitude, and the way you see yourself. If you want to look the best you can, take a look at my top tips:

 

Get Your Diet Right

 

First things first: get your diet right! This is important for so many reasons. It isn’t just about looking good, it’s about feeling good too. The only way you’ll be healthy and feel energized is with the right foods. You don’t need to starve yourself or cut out your favorite foods, you just need to bear moderation in mind. Focus on eating mainly natural foods, lots of vegetables, and keeping processed/junk foods to a minimum. Everything will benefit if you do this, your hair, skin, nails, the lot!

 

Exercise Regularly

 

I love exercise, but not just because it makes me look good. It makes me feel good too. It releases endorphins, helping me to feel happier day in day out. I can maintain my weight, and even change the shape of my body if I want to. Again, you can buy shapewear, but why not invest time into your body? It’s worth it!

 

Keep on Top of Hair Removal

 

Hair removal is a pain, but if you keep on top of it you won’t have so much to take care of. Shaving constantly can give rashes and ingrown hairs, so I make sure I know how to avoid ingrown hairs when I shave. I do like to wax, as waxing lasts a little longer. Lately, I’m considering laser hair removal to keep it permanent!

Make sure you take care of your skin, hair, and nails. All of these things benefit when you eat right and exercise, but there are a few more things you can do too. You can apply products that nourish them. You can either buy these, or make them yourself! You can find plenty of natural recipes online if you’d prefer. I like making my own face masks sometimes, as I know they are totally natural!

 

Avoid Bad Habits

 

Bad habits like drinking to excess, smoking, and drugs should be stopped. They will age you horribly if they don’t kill you first. Get some professional help if you need it.

 

Have a Quick and Easy Makeup Routine

 

I like having a quick and easy makeup routine when I’m in a rush. Usually this is just tinted BB cream, concealer, eyebrow pencil, lip gloss, and mascara. It takes less than 5 minutes to do and I look naturally more awake and alive!

Roald Dahl once said that if you think happy thoughts they will radiate out of you and you’ll always look lovely. I do believe this, so I try to stick to it. You should try it too!
