Dr. Scholl’s invited me and a friend to attend last Friday’s Shecky’s Girls Night Out, so I rounded up Candice (my swag bag buddy) and off we went.
The event started at 6pm, but the organizers were late checking people in so we did have to wait a while. But once we got our wrist bands, we went in and started our customary circling around the Petersen’s Automotive Museum. There was a fair amount of booze at this event, and it was a Friday…let’s just say that we had a lot of fun!
Dr. Scholl’s very kindly sent me two sets of Dream Walk insoles – one for me and one for my guest. They had a fairly large booth at the event, too. I love the idea of making uncomfy high heels wearable again, so I will be trying the Comfort Insoles on a beautiful pair of lilac T-straps that have been languishing in my closet for years. The Fresh & Cool Insoles are headed for a pair of flats that will be worn a lot this summer. Thank you Dr. Scholl’s!
There was a lot of chatter among the other attendees about the decline in the quality of the gift bags over the years. I have to agree that the swag isn’t even close to what we used to get when the event was in Santa Monica, but there were usable items in the bag.
Back to the drinks! I took the bus, and Candice walked to the event, so we may or may not have made a return or three to the Sweet ‘n Low booth for Spicy Margaritas. We also hit up the Rosatello booth several a couple of times. The moscato was out of this world and I will be buying it!

I never think of putting Dr. S’s into my heels what a good idea! When you get used to wearing running shoes those heels don’t feel so good!

Both!! But not on the same night! That event looked like a good time – I really like Veet and Nair depilatory products- but haven’t tried at home waxing- please let us know if you try it
I really like depilatory products, too. They’re just so easy to use.
I’ve heard about this, but I never attended. It sounds like it was a fun night of drinking… hehe~
