Travel Tuesday – Mexico City

El Angel de la Independencia

I’ve been here in Mexico City for a week now. It was all kind of last minute, but I’m working on project for the next 2 months. I love Mexico, and Mexico City is an exciting and vibrant place so I’m really happy to be here.
Of course, I miss 유씨, but as he pointed out, when else would I get the chance to work and live in Mexico (and have someone else pay for my room and board)?
I am working a lot of hours, so I haven’t yet had much time to sight-see. I was in Mexico City for 2-3 days when I spent a month here travelling around the country after law school, but that was many years ago and a city this dynamic will always change. The weekends are free, but since I went to work as soon as I arrived, I took it easy and ran some errands this weekend (and by errands I mean doing a couple of major grocery shopping trips. More on that later).

Here are some photos of what’s around my hotel and office. I hope to do more sightseeing this weekend!

Police Museum
Police Museum. There are some gruesome exhibits here. I didn’t go in, but I liked the gothic building – so fitting!

    1. Working out is pretty tough because of the altitude, but I know I’m going to be in GREAT cardiovascular shape when I leave here.

I'd love to hear from you
