Yes, I am a professional and yes, I am over 40 but that does not mean that I don’t/can’t wear accessories with a little bit of personality, or dare I say, whimsy. I have a few Hello Kitty jewelry pieces – a ring, earrings, necklaces.

I bought this necklace from Avon years ago. I wear it with a white button-down shirt under a blazer or cardigan. Wearing this reminds me that I’m not all business.
These earrings were a gift from 유씨. When I wear these, they are the only accessory (apart from a watch) that I will put on. Gotta keep it tasteful.

Very cute jewellery 🙂 I would definitely wear it and have worn a Hello Kitty bracelet several times. But we can wear pretty much anything we want at my work place. I actually wore a Hello Kitty t-shirt last week. Pretty much only the highest bosses wear suits and that kind of clothing.

I don’t think HK is age specific. I sometimes try not to like the little kitty but I do at times. I have a friend in her 30s obsessed with HK. I think it’s fun and cute.
I am still a kid at heart and I love Hello Kitty. She takes me back to 5th grade and I see nothing wrong it with it! Whimsy is fun!
