Today we went on a 7-mile hike in Burbank. That bobcat that I was worried about on Saturday? I saw it today, just walking on the trail like he didn’t have a care in the world. I also saw a pretty deer that snorted and neighed like a horse. Wildlife! There were more people on the trail than when we went a few weekends ago, and quite a few mountain bikers. It was a lovely, cool afternoon and being in the fresh air was the perfect way to spend Christmas Day.
