Soap & Glory Hand Food

My hands are in bad shape, so I purchased Soap & Glory Hand Food from Marshalls to battle dry, cracked hands and brittle nails.

You may or may not have noticed the lack of Manicure Monday posts recently and there’s a reason for that. My hands are a mess! My cuticles are dry, my knuckles are cracked, my nails brittle and broken…they look awful.

So when I saw this gift set at Marshalls this weekend, I had to buy it.

I first tried Soap & Glory Hand Food as a gift from Sarah at Life in a Breakdown, and I really liked it. And I needed its intense repairing moisture for my hands. It was pretty much an emergency!

So much of an emergency, in fact, that I couldn’t even wait until I got home to use the lotion – I used it immediately!

I haven’t tried the soap yet, but the hand lotion has been going on several times a day. I think it’s working! And if I see another one of these sets at Marshalls again…you’d better believe I’m buying it. I’d forgot how much I liked it and how effective it was. I might seek out more Soap & Glory products too. Now that I’m getting back into running, my tootsies sure could use a nice cream too!

What do you use when your hands are dry?

  1. I’ve tried literally everything I could find, but I will not have to look for anything ever again! I started using the body treatment cream made by WEN (yep…the company that makes the lather-free shampoo!). Their deep-treatment hair products are named “613” & apparently I was not the only person whp LOVED the fragrance – others had been writing to the owner of WEN (Chaz Dean…super special guy) – he believes that anything you use on your body should be GOOD for your body, so…”613 Body Treatment” was born! (Buy at QVC – best price anywhere! If I apply it after my evening bath to my flaky, ND legs and arms…& hands – I am STILL hydrated & soft in the morning!! It’s concentrated, so it goes a long way – I use 613 for moisturizing everywhere (not my face – but I probably could) – it is truly wonderful, and bye bye dry skin!!

    1. wow that’s remarkable – I’d never think of using Wen on my hands. Thanks for the tip! I’m sure I have a sample floating around that I can dig up and try.

I'd love to hear from you
