Rumor has it that another polar vortex is about to descend! I am a bit envious – it’s 80 degrees again today and I would love winter. I’m HOT.
My friends at Daxon have come up with 15 Ways to Feel Fabulous this Winter – scroll to the bottom to see which of these I use here in sunny SoCal!
I can get behind all of these suggestions. I do pretty well at #6 – Eat More Veg, #8 – Keep Active, and #11 – Give Yourself a Makeover, but I need to work on #7 – Wear Something Bright (I tend to wear a lot of brown and grey) and #12 – Spruce Up The Home.
What’s the weather where you are? Will you be using any of these tips from the Daxon Blog?
I will be have to give some of these a try.
The weather is COLD and snowy. (We haven’t been over freezing except for 5 days since Thanksgiving)
There isn’t much moderation in the weather this year, is there?!
Great ideas! So easy to get the winter blues but I think staying active is key!
I gotta say that I think staying active is the key to chasing the blues no matter what the season!
I agree Wendy. It just makes you feel better, Talk with experience. When I was active I was way more happy:)
This graphic is so cute! I find #4 especially helpful in the winter. I tend not to drink enough water to account for the drier air, and when I’m even slightly dehydrated, I start to feel cranky. Weird maybe? Drinking water always brings my mood back to baseline though.
I think because somewhere in our minds, we associate drinking water with hot weather? At least I do. Being well-hydrated seems to help everything.
All of these ideas are fantastic!
Yes, they sure do help lift your spirits no matter what the weather.
these are great tips! I need to work on eating more vegetables for sure!

What are your favorite veggies?
YES! I hate the winter, but these certainly help!
noooo enjoy winter! It’s full-on fire season here and it’s only January 🙁
No complaints about the warm weather here in San Diego ~ I’m loving it!
I am trying to eat more veggies (#6) (I have a yummy salad for lunch) and fruit. I’ve been doing some kind of exercise (#8) each evening even if it’s just 10 min of jump rope.
And I’m wearing a bright purple (#7) Zella jacket 🙂

A bright purple jacket sounds awesome!
This must be why they have the VS Semi-Annual sale in winter!! Haha, I totally stocked up on new bras 😉
Not a bad idea! A girl can never have too many foundation garments.
