was traumatizing. I don’t know what I was thinking when I RSVPed for such a ludicrous Meet Up event. I suppose the idea was that the city lights were to illuminate the path – Glendale on one side, Hollywood on the other – but I can’t see very well in the dark anyway so it was a nightmare for me. The first half-mile was nearly vertical and there was scrambling up dirt bank, hanging on to trees, crawling under fallen branches…that would be fine in broad daylight, but in the dark NSM. After we reached the peak, the downhill ascent was all on an access road. 유씨 liked the uphill scramble, but he’s just not fond of access roads. Phew. I could not get out of the park fast enough. Not for me.
